lady with native ties wins "Hell's Kitchen" - Allentown Morning name

a rustic club chef from Hackensack, NJ whose mother lives in lower Mount Bethel became named the winner of season 15 of Fox's "Hell's Kitchen," by using celeb chef Gordon Ramsay.

Ariel Malone, the daughter of Loren Savakus Rabbat, beat out Chicago chef Kristin Barone within the finale of the culinary competitors display last week.

The 26-yr-historic, who signature dish became shashkouka,  a dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, chili peppers, and onions; wins $250,000 in addition to a head chef position at BLT Steak at Bally's Las Vegas.

Malone's menu covered charred octopus with manchego croquettes; red romaine salad with candied walnuts, dried cranberries, blue cheese, grilled asparagus and wild mushrooms; savory cheesecake with wild mushrooms frisée and Maine lobster with white and green Asparagus as appetizers; grilled hanger steak with pink wine sauce,  herb garden hen with carrot purée; pan-seared bass with Beaverbrook-braised greens and pan-roasted pork chop with potato caramelized onion gratin for entrée and espresso panna cotta  and pistachio sponge cake for dessert.
